My baby is 2!

Our sweet little Hudson is 2! Don't let that fool you for a second he is still Mamma's baby. For now I am still his favorite, and do not mind a bit because someday I know it won't be like this. It is so fun to watch him grow and explore his world. Sometimes I am amazed by what he is doing, then realize he unlike Gavin has a big brother to guide him along. Oh the trouble the 2 of them are getting into these days:) For example Hudson loves to play in the toilets, I walked up on them and Gavin was telling him "do it again". All the giggling makes it hard to get mad. Hudson is also a big climber and oh so proud of himself once he reaches his goal! He is really starting to talk a lot, and just started telling us "NO" and boy does he mean it! Try and tell him no and he is not having it. He is still the most particular eater I ever did see, he has a handful of favorites. One of his favorite drinks is coffee! Yes he absolutely loves it. If I share with him while driving I usually cannot get it back...yes my 2 year old holds my Starbucks hostage:) He is an absolute joy, and I am holding on to the squishy thighs and sweet toes! Thank you Lord for choosing me to be his Mommy!

Mamoe was very sweet to get the boys ornaments.
Aunt Shel spoiled the boys and let them open their x-mas presents early.

The boys and I had a fabulous time with Aunt Shel and Victoria in Sacramento. They really showed us a fun time. There was not a dull moment. Looking at Christmas lights, getting their tree, sleepovers, and even a visit with Mamoe:) A special shout out to DeAnna, Brook, Brelynn, Rebecca, & Victoria for helping entertain the boys. Thanks for taking such great care of us! we can't wait till you come down our way in Feb.

Let's carve some pumpkins

Pumpkin carving is always something I look forward to every year. This year I thought the boys were going to be really into it too...well not so much:( Hudson kept saying eewww, and Gavi told me after just a few minutes that I could just do it myself. They did have some fun, I just was hoping for a little more participation. LOL so I hurried and carved one and then Hudson thought it was funny and kept kissing the pumpkin and blowing out the candle. Gavin did so some carving, momma just wanted some more. Well I feel better knowing we have quite a few more years of this fun ahead of us to look forward too.

Disneyland or BUST....

We were happy we got to visit Disneyland to see all the Halloween decorations before out passes expired. We saw the most characters we have ever seen on this visit. You would think that would be very cool, but can you believe the boys are still scared of them:) Gavin and Hudson both LOVE toy story so we all were very excited when Gavin got to participate in a Toy Story skit with the green army guys! He was also tall enough to go into the Star Wars ride with Daddy! Star Wars is his absolute favorite right now. Hudson had a ball dancing while the parade went by. He really has some moves these days. I am sure he get's them from me.

Cutest pumpkins in the patch!

Oh, I just love this time of year! It is even more enjoyable that it truly does feel like fall this year. Most years we go to the pumpkin patch we are sweating. Not this time it was a delightful fall day. We went back to our favorite Bate's Nut Farm. Pony rides, petting zoo, and of course pumpkins. Hudson decided the pony ride was not for him, but Gavin was yelling yee haa he liked it so much. The petting zoo was a riot the boys befriended a goose, and it kept honking at them they were absolutely cracking up! I ended up with some great shots of both of them, but don't for one minute think this Momma didn't have to work for them. Gavin is finally happy for me to take his pic, but now Hudi has taken his place, and quite the snickerdoodle! Marc just stands back and laughs, I think he got some of my finer moments on video this year. Can't wait to c that:)Happy Fall!

Carpet Skating

I like to try and think of fun things Jayme and I did as kids, and do them with the boys. We liked to use my Mom's slippers or paper plates and do a little indoor ice skating:) Gavin and Hudson were so excited about their new Halloween pj's I thought this would be the perfect night to introduce carpet skating to them. It was a big hit! Wish you could of heard all the giggles. I love seeing the two of them having so much fun together. I have waited my whole life for this. These moments are precious.
